In this album, she plays pure Indian classical music on her one of a kind instrument, the Indian cello. Saskia’s Indian Cello has 5 playing strings and 12 resonating strings. Saskia plays three soulful ragas, the afternoon Bhimpalasi, late-evening Bihag and the morning Vibhas. Accompanying Saskia on the Tabla is the popular Durjay Bhaumik from Kolkata. Durjay has accompanied artists of national and international repute like Pt. Rajan and Sajan Mishra, Pt. Shubhendra Rao, Pt. Ulhas Kashalkar among others and is a popular soloist as well.
