One of the only places in Japan where the ancient practice of Yabusame (horseback archery) is still practiced, as well as traditions of walnut & wild berry bark basket weaving, Tsukimoshi clay doll, ancient music & dance of the Shishinodori, just to name a few. Mineral rich water with hands-on, non-mass, quality based farming including soba, hops, rice, corn, dairy and a vast array of fruits and vegetables growing at the feet of these ancient mountains bursting with nature.
